Janna Bilski

Janna Bilski works on the Investments team at the Ford Foundation, an international philanthropy focused on advancing social justice and reducing inequality. Janna started a mindfulness and meditation program at the Ford Foundation in 2016, where she currently teaches a weekly class. She also leads classes at Kadampa Meditation Center in New York City. Janna is passionate about the practice of mindfulness and meditation and sees these practices as an integral component of long-term social change. She is a strong advocate for advancing mindfulness in schools to help youth learn "inner" tools to navigate the challenges they face and to thrive. Janna is currently completing the Training in Mindfulness Facilitation course at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA. Janna received a B.A. from New York University's Gallatin School of Individualized Study and completed post-graduate studies at Regent's College School of Psychotherapy and Counseling in London, England.
